Lead Embedded SoC Engineer - Vehicle Integration Debugging

KPIT Technologies Ltd. in Turin seeks a Lead Base Software SoC Engineer to support VHIL labs, production environments, and pre-production plant setups.

This role requires broad systems expertise in embedded software platforms and infotainment subsystems with hands-on debugging across bootloaders, OSs (QNX, Linux, Android) and hypervisors, middleware stacks, diagnostics, flashing tools and FOTA processes. The engineer will act as a first responder in production environments, driving rapid issue

Debug and triage embedded software issues in Plant and Production setups. Travel to production plants and test facilities for on-site support. Support system bring-up across bootloaders, OS/hypervisors, middleware and diagnostics. Debug infotainment peripherals and connectivity subsystems, including touch interfaces and audio. Collaborate with cross-functional teams for root-cause analysis and resolution. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant engineering field. 5+ years of embedded software debugging experience. Willingness to travel to production plants and test facilities (≈10–20%).
