Summary
Lead a distributed frontend team building React/TypeScript interfaces for a US tax-preparation platform, mentoring engineers and architecting features while also working hands-on in the .NET backend (C#, Entity Framework, REST APIs). Fully remote, monthly USD contract.
Compensation: $42k – $48k • No equity
Niuro is hiring a Lead Frontend Engineer for a high-precision US tax preparation platform where speed, accuracy and accessibility are critical. The platform is backend-driven, so you will lead a distributed frontend team in React and TypeScript while working hands-on in the .NET codebase (C#, Entity Framework).
You will
- Lead and mentor frontend engineers: technical direction, code reviews and unblocking.
- Architect and build complex React components and feature modules end to end.
- Work directly in the .NET backend: C# services, Entity Framework and REST APIs.
- Optimize performance with code splitting, memoization and efficient state management.
- Diagnose production issues and keep high standards for testing and documentation.
You bring
- 5+ years in software engineering, 3+ with production React.
- Deep expertise in .NET and Entity Framework, with hands-on C# development.
- Documented experience as Tech Lead, Team Lead or Engineering Manager.
- Strong TypeScript, modern JavaScript and REST APIs.
- UX experience: you turn UX requirements into effective frontend solutions.
- C1 English.
Nice to have: Jest, React Testing Library, fintech.
Contract: full-time, fully remote, monthly contract in USD.
