Lead Information Security Specialist
About the Position: This position serves as a Lead Information Security Specialist responsible for planning, directing, and executing multi-discipline security operations across the DHA enterprise, including information security, physical facility accreditation, communications security, and foreign disclosure administration. This is not a virtual/remote position. You must live within or be willing to relocate to a commutable distance of the identified duty location (Falls Church, VA).
Administer the Information Security program by applying federal directives and agency policies to protect classified national security information and Controlled Unclassified Information across the enterprise.
Act as the primary technical expert executing day-to-day management of the DHA Information Security and Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) Programs.
Provide physical security expertise for the construction, accreditation, and assessment of classified facilities (Collateral Open Storage Area, SCIFs) environments to ensure compliance with all governing standards.
Lead security program functions by developing enterprise-wide policies and procedures to support the integration of multiple security disciplines.
Direct the Communications Security program by overseeing the management, accountability, and safeguarding of cryptographic materials and systems.
Execute risk management processes by leading inquiries and investigations into security incidents to ensure rapid containment and mitigation of threats.
