- Design and optimize hybrid and multi-cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS, OCI) to support global enterprise workloads, including high-performance and resilient AI workloads.
- Define and standardize architectural patterns for compute, storage, networking, and platform services that enable efficient AI model training, inference, and data processing.
- Drive adoption of Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), automation, and GitOps frameworks for consistent, repeatable deployments and operations.
- Embed security and compliance controls into infrastructure designs, including identity management, encryption, segmentation, and policy enforcement.
- Ensure observability, monitoring, and resilience are integral to all platform architectures.
- Collaborate with data and AI platform teams to ensure alignment between infrastructure, data pipelines, and MLOps environments.
- Partner with enterprise and security architects to align infrastructure designs with global security standards and regulatory frameworks.
- Support threat modeling, risk assessments, and architecture assurance reviews for infrastructure and AI deployments.
- Apply resilience-by-design principles, incorporating redundancy, failover, and recovery mechanisms across cloud and on-prem environments.
- Champion a culture of secure-by-default and continuous improvement in infrastructure and cloud operations.
- Contribute to the definition, evolution, and enforcement of global infrastructure and cloud standards, including AI and data-specific requirements.
- Ensure architectural decisions are documented, traceable, and compliant with enterprise governance frameworks.
- Participate in architecture review boards and provide expert guidance to delivery and engineering teams.
- Establish lifecycle governance to ensure infrastructure architectures remain aligned with evolving business, regulatory, and technology needs.
- Collaborate with application, data, and security architects to design and deliver integrated, secure, and scalable infrastructure solutions.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering and operations teams, fostering a culture of architectural excellence and innovation.
- Engage with business and technology stakeholders to translate strategic goals into actionable, measurable infrastructure capabilities.
- Promote cross-functional collaboration and knowledge sharing to accelerate the adoption of modern cloud, AI, and automation practices.
- 16+ years in infrastructure and cloud architecture roles within large-scale, complex enterprise environments.
- Deep experience with multi-cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, OCI), hybrid networking, and infrastructure automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, GitOps).
- Proficiency in container orchestration (Kubernetes, AKS/EKS/OKE) and infrastructure observability (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
- Familiarity with embedded security practices — IAM, encryption, secure connectivity, and compliance automation.
- Working knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman) and cloud reference architectures.
- Exposure to AI/ML infrastructure, GPU/accelerator environments, and MLOps pipelines is highly desirable.
- Understanding of FinOps principles for cost optimization and governance in multi-cloud environments.
- Azure or AWS Solutions Architect (Professional Level)
- TOGAF or equivalent enterprise architecture certification
- ITIL or COBIT for operational alignment
- CKA (Certified Kubernetes Administrator) or HashiCorp Terraform Associate
- Security certifications (e.g., CISSP, ISO 27001) are advantageous
