Lead Java Developer
F24 is Europe's leading crisis management and emergency notification SaaS provider, trusted by more than 5,500 organisations across 100 countries. From governments and airlines to banks and critical infrastructure providers, our technology helps organisations communicate and respond when every second matters.
We're building the next generation of our Emergency Notification Services (ENS) platform, the foundation of F24 for more than 25 years. ENS enables organisations to communicate instantly during critical situations through SMS, voice calls, email, push notifications, and conference bridges. As demand grows for large-scale public alerting and crisis response capabilities, we're investing heavily in modernising the platform through cloud-native architecture, enhanced security, and scalability.
As a Lead Software Engineer, you'll take ownership of the Portal development team, responsible for the core web platform that powers ENS. This is not a management-only role. We're looking for a technical leader who enjoys leading from the front, remaining hands-on in the code while mentoring engineers and shaping technical direction.
You'll work closely with Software Architects, Product Owners, QA Engineers, UX Designers and fellow engineering leaders as we continue building our new technology hub in Zagreb. This is an opportunity to help shape both the future of a mission-critical platform and the engineering culture behind it.
