Lead Mobile Product Designer — Drive Engagement

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced UX/UI Lead to drive the end-to-end design of our product app and design system. You will lead cross-functional teams across engineering, product, and marketing to ship features that boost engagement and retention.

You bring 4+ years designing mobile apps, a strong live portfolio, and a track record of presenting to C-suite leadership. Based in Milan with occasional travel to San Francisco, you will mentor designers and define design direction.

Lead the end-to-end design and evolution of the product app. Create information architecture, low-fidelity wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and other deliverables Conduct usability studies and user interviews. Work with the in-house customer discovery squad. Use qualitative and quantitative data to evaluate design success or failure. Make design decisions that improve the app experience, reduce churn, and increase engagement. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver user experiences that increase membership value and support hardware innovations. Build, document, and organize UI components for the design library and system. Align with Product and Brand stakeholders. Present design updates to C-suite leadership for feedback and approval. Serve as subject matter expert for app design patterns and interactions. Research emerging mobile design trends and best practices. Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Marketing teams to ship products and features. 4+ years of UX/UI experience in product design. Strong portfolio with live mobile apps. Experience shipping designs to public users with measurable results. Ability to balance user value with technical effort. Experience collaborating with Product Managers and Engineers.
