Lead Platform Architect

Salary: $155.00 - $175.00 p/hr inc. Super + weekly pays

• NV1 Security Clearance required
• Hybrid arrangements, 2 days WFH

Our client, a Commonwealth Government organisation whose focus is to provide support to Australian's living with disability, require the services of a Lead Platform Architect (EL2 equivalent).

Duties of the Lead Platform Architect:

• Lead architecture and technical design of platform solutions covering cloud, integration, data, and enterprise technologies;
• Develop and maintain architecture artefacts such as technical designs, standards, reference implementations, and platform guardrails;
• Ensure all solutions align with government agency objectives, enterprise architecture strategies, and cybersecurity standards;
• Drive adoption of Infrastructure-as-Code, DevSecOps, and automation practices to enhance developer experience and operational support.

Skills required:

• 7+ years in senior architecture or engineering roles with 5+ years focused on solution architecture in enterprise-grade cloud and platform environments;
• Proficient with Microsoft Azure and AWS cloud platforms, including strong expertise in landing zones, networking, identity and access management, and cloud governance;
• Experience leading large-scale enterprise platform architecture, including integration technologies like MuleSoft and API-led architectures;
• Hands-on skills with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, ARM/Bicep, and CI/CD pipeline automation.
