A lead platform/full stack engineer role managing enterprise Kubernetes/EKS environments on AWS, driving CI/CD, GitOps, and Infrastructure as Code, and supporting API platform modernization with monitoring, observability, and security controls in a regulated enterprise setting. Core tech: Kubernetes/EKS, AWS, Terraform, ArgoCD/Flux, Docker, Prometheus, Grafana, Kong/MuleSoft.
Join a high-performing engineering team responsible for enterprise Kubernetes platforms, API modernization, and cloud-native delivery. This role offers exposure to large-scale AWS environments, DevSecOps, GitOps, and modern platform engineering practices within a regulated enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and optimize Kubernetes / EKS environments
- Drive CI/CD, GitOps, and Infrastructure as Code practices
- Support API platform and cloud modernization initiatives
- Implement platform monitoring, observability, and security controls
- Collaborate with engineering and architecture teams on enterprise platform delivery

Education
- Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
- Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD)
- Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist (CKS)
- Kubernetes and Cloud Native Associate (KCNA)
- Kubernetes and Cloud Native Security Associate (KCSA)
- Kubestronaut accreditation advantageous
- AWS Certified Developer Associate
- AWS Solutions Architect Professional advantageous
- AWS DevOps Engineer Professional advantageous
- Terraform Associate advantageous
- Kong and/or MuleSoft certifications advantageos
Experience
- 5+ years experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or SRE
- Strong Kubernetes / EKS and AWS experience
- Terraform, ArgoCD/Flux, CI/CD pipeline expertise
- Experience with Docker, Prometheus, Grafana, and cloud-native platforms
- Kong, MuleSoft, or API Gateway experience advantageous
- Banking or regulated industry experience preferred
