Lead Product Designer
You will set the product design vision and lead high-impact product work from concept through shippable designs. You will manage and mentor a product designer, maintain and scale the design system, use AI-assisted design and prototyping tools, and partner with product and engineering stakeholders. You will conduct user research and usability testing to validate decisions and deliver polished, user-centered experiences.
Responsibilities
- Set and champion a clear product design vision aligned with company goals and brand values
- Lead high-impact projects with exceptional visual and interaction design craft
- Manage, mentor, and grow a product designer
- Maintain and scale the design system
- Leverage AI design and prototyping tools to improve design quality and velocity
- Partner with Product and Engineering to ship pixel-perfect, user-centered experiences
- Conduct user research and usability testing to validate design decisions
- Champion user-centered design across the organization
Requirements
- 7+ years of product design experience with a strong portfolio of shipped end-to-end work
- Exceptional visual and interaction design skills
- Experience managing or mentoring designers
- Demonstrated use of AI tools to accelerate design work
- Expert knowledge of modern design tools including Figma and Framer
- Experience building and scaling design systems
- Strong stakeholder communication, presentation, influence, and alignment skills
- Experience with user-centered design, research, and usability testing
