Lead Software Engineer

Requirements:
  • Strong experience with TypeScript, JavaScript and Node.js

  • CI/CD pipeline development and automation
  • Experience with GitLab and modern software delivery tooling
  • Strong understanding of Test-Driven Development (TDD)
  • Experience with Nunjucks, Twig, Jinja, or similar templating technologies
  • Experience building accessible applications aligned with WCAG standards
  • Experience delivering secure and scalable solutions within complex environments
  • Previous experience working on UK Public Sector projects
Responsibilities:
  • Lead and mentor software engineering teams

  • Build templates and layouts using Nunjucks or similar templating frameworks
  • Design and deliver cloud-native solutions on AWS
  • Manage containerised workloads using Docker and Amazon EKS
  • Drive CI/CD automation and engineering best practices
  • Champion Test-Driven Development (TDD) and code quality
  • Deliver services aligned to WCAG accessibility standards
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, architects, and delivery teams
  • Contribute to technical strategy and solution architecture
