Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of software engineers in the design, development, and deployment of cloud solutions.
• Architect and implement scalable, reliable, and secure cloud-native applications using best practices.
• Define technical strategies, roadmaps, and standards for cloud development.
• Oversee the entire software development lifecycle, from conception to deployment and maintenance.
• Collaborate with product management, operations, and other engineering teams to align on project goals and deliverables.
• Conduct code reviews, performance tuning, and ensure high code quality and system reliability.
• Drive the adoption of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to enhance development efficiency and application performance.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment.

Requirements

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in software development, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role.
• Extensive experience architecting and building solutions on major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Proficiency in one or more backend programming languages (e.g., Go, Python, Java, C#).
• Deep understanding of microservices architecture, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and serverless technologies.
• Strong knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Experience with database systems (SQL and NoSQL) and data modeling.
• Proven track record of leading successful software projects from inception to completion.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Experience in Agile methodologies and CI/CD best practices.
