Role Summary:
Bandhan Life Insurance Company is seeking to fill a positionwith an expert who would help us deliver leading edge internet scale digitalsolutions, working on all parts of the tech stack. We are looking for RockstarDevOps engineer(s) who could lead and author change while influencing peers andstakeholders in our journey to build the next generation digital insuranceplatform and applications. You will work closely with Delivery head, Architectsand technical leads to identify and establish DevOps practices in the company.
Key Focus areas:
- Design and implementreusable web components
- Improve Continuousdelivery, Security and Cost efficiency
- Automated Release andchange management.
- Implement and improvemonitoring and alerting.
- Build and maintainhighly available systems.
- Manage and evolveDevOps toolchain.
- Collaborate with otherdistributed teams and stakeholders to share knowledge and best practices
- Innovate on theoperationalization of the design, and deliver the product as per specs
- Enumerate bestpractices for code management like code documentation, reviews and unit tests
Qualifications & Competencies:
- Experience of 5 to 8 years
- An engineering major with a degree (or equivalentexperience) in computer science or software engineering
- Automating production infrastructure with Terraform,Cloud Formation, etc.
- Experience with Container and its Orchestration toolslike Kubernetes.
- Cognitive about designing, deploying and operatinghighly available, scalable and fault tolerant systems using Amazon Web Services(AWS).
- Extensively worked using AWS services along with wideand in depth understanding of five pillars of AWS Well-Architected Framework.
- Highly skilled in deployment, data security andtroubleshooting of the applications using AWS services.
- Knowledge of API design, SQL and NoSQL databases willbe preferred
- Python scripting skill nice to have.
- Demonstrate ability to learn new skills
