Title and Summary
Lead Software Engineer F/TOverviewLead a team of site reliability engineers support services before they go live through activities such as system design consulting, performance engineering, chaos testing, capacity planning, launch reviews and implementation of technical solutions.
Role
• Maintain, increase, and communicate service metrics once live by measuring and monitoring availability, latency, performance and overall system health.
• Scale systems sustainably through mechanisms, like automation, and evolve systems by pushing for changes that improve reliability, velocity and recommend performance tuning
approaches.
• Review production incidents to identify and drive solutions to prevent recurrence.
• Manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
• Proactively create and maintain solution and technology roadmaps.
• Build, manage and maintain robust dashboards reflecting system health.
• Software performance analysis and bottleneck identification, scaling, automation experience
About You
• Position requires a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Systems, Engineering or related and seven (7) years of progressively responsible experience in job offered or as a Programmer Analyst, System Test Engineer, Software Engineer, Performance Engineer, or related.
• Qualifying experience must include at least five (5) years with each of the following: SYSTEMS DESIGN AND DISTRIBUTED SYSTEMS INFRASTRUCTURE; SQL; HTML/XHTML; JSON/XML; ORACLE/MYSQL/POSTGRESQL; APACHE TOMCAT/TOMCAT; WINDOWS/LINUX; SPLUNK OR DATADOG OR PROMETHEUS/GRAFANA; DYNATRACE OR APM TOOLS; JENKINS OR CI/CD TOOLS; ALM TOOLS; REST; BLAZEMETER OR LOADRUNNER OR GATLING.

Pay Ranges
O'Fallon, Missouri: $122,000 - $207,000 USD
