We are seeking an experienced Legal Assistant to join our Property and Private Client team in Hamilton on a fixed-term basis through to January 2028. This is an excellent opportunity for a capable legal support professional who enjoys working in a busy practice, building strong client relationships, and contributing to a high-performing team.

The Role
Supporting our lawyers across a range of property, trusts and private client matters, you will be:
•  Managing files and document workflows from commencement through to completion
•  Preparing correspondence, legal documents and client reporting

•  Manage billing, trust account requests and administrative processes

•  Support client onboarding and compliance requirements

•  Assisting with legal administration and property transactions through to settlement
•  Coordinating diaries, meetings, and client communications

•  Contributing to a collaborative and team-focused working environment

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:
•  Previous experience as a Legal Assistant, ideally within property and conveyancing (exposure to trusts, estates or private client work preferred).

•  Strong organisational and time management skills
•  Professional written and verbal communication skills
•  Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
•  A proactive, positive approach and the ability to work independently

Experience with Actionstep and Landonline (NDs) would be advantageous, although training can be provided.
