Job Summary:

Inspiria Knowledge Campus is seeking an experienced and self-driven Legal Executive to oversee all legal and compliance matters within the institution. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in corporate law, a practical understanding of the POSH Act, and the ability to manage legal operations independently, ensuring full compliance with statutory and organizational requirements.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft, review, and vet contracts, MoUs, agreements, and legal documents to safeguard organizational interests.

  • Advise management on corporate law matters, compliance, and regulatory requirements.

  • Monitor and interpret new laws, amendments, and court rulings relevant to the organization’s operations.

  • Liaise and negotiate with external legal counsel, government departments, and regulatory authorities.

  • Implement and maintain internal legal processes, documentation systems, and compliance frameworks.

  • Conduct training and awareness sessions on legal topics, including the POSH Act and workplace ethics.

  • Handle legal notices, litigation documentation, and responses in coordination with external advocates.

  • Ensure adherence to institutional policies, risk management practices, and statutory obligations.

  • Collaborate with HR, Finance, and Academic Departments for legal vetting of organizational matters.

  • Provide strategic input on policy formation, disciplinary procedures, and contract renewals.



Requirements

  • Educational Qualification: BA LLB / LLM from a recognized university.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of proven experience in Corporate Law, legal compliance, or an in-house counsel role.
  • Excellent knowledge of corporate and labour laws, and working familiarity with the POSH Act.
  • Strong legal drafting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and presentation abilities.
  • Sound judgment and the ability to handle legal matters independently.
  • Strong negotiation, coordination, and interpersonal skills.
  • High level of integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
  • Tech-savvy with proficiency in MS Office and legal research tools.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines efficiently.
