Level 2 IT Support Specialist
Summary
Provides Level 2, fully on-site IT support across multiple Sydney enterprise sites, resolving hardware, Windows, Active Directory, Exchange, and MS Teams issues face-to-face and remotely. Day to day involves ticket handling in ServiceNow, installing and maintaining systems like DHCP, VMware and backups, and taking part in an after-hours on-call roster.
We're looking for a people-focused IT professional to join a leading enterprise organisation, providing critical on-site support across multiple sites in Sydney. You'll be resolving issues face-to-face and remotely to keep things running smoothly. This role is fully office-based and requires you to work on-site 5 days a week.
What you’ll be doing:
- Troubleshooting hardware, Windows OS, MS Teams, Exchange, and Active Directory issues
- Supporting users with prompt and professional service
- Installing, configuring, and maintaining IT systems like AD, DHCP, backup services, VMWare, and more
- Working with ServiceNow to manage tickets and resolve issues to agreed SLAs
- Participating in the on-call roster and assisting with IT projects and system rollouts
We’re looking for someone with:
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate clearly and confidently
- Bachelor's Degree in IT
- Solid experience in desktop support, server troubleshooting, and ITSM tools (like ServiceNow)
- Hands-on skills with Windows, Exchange, Active Directory, DHCP, and hardware
- A current driver's licence, and the ability to travel between sites
- Provide after-hours support by participating in the On Call Roster
