Description
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) performs a variety of professional nursing duties in compliance with the Comprehensive Home Care/Nursing Home and Transitional Care unit regulations and follows established policies and procedures for our welcoming Skilled Nursing Facility in Lake City, MN
TCU/LTC unit nursing schedule includes;
- Casual / on call
- Evening or overnight shift. Shift pay is offered for off shifts.
- Must work a minimum of three shifts per month, which includes two weekend shifts per month and one holiday per year

Lake City Care Center Careers (ebenezercares.org)
- Provides professional nursing cares and treatments
- Monitors work and performance of unlicensed staff
- Maintains current observation and documentation of resident health status
Required:
- MN LPN licensure
- AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers or Red Cross CPR for Professional Rescuers
- BLS is required upon hire and/or new hire must show proof that they are currently enrolled in a BLS class to renew or obtain their certification. BLS certification must be obtained within three-weeks of hire date and before nurse can perform independent practice
- 0-1 years of experience
- Ability to use technology in the form of computers, hand held devices, cell phones, and fax machines
Preferred:
- Vocational/Technical Training or Associate Degree
- 1-3 years of experience
- MS Office, Excel, and Word
- Point Click Care knowledge
