Summary
Linux Administrator (5+ yrs) in Mumbai who manages and supports Linux server infrastructure across SLES, RHEL, Rocky Linux, and Ubuntu — handling patching, OS upgrades, SUSE HA clustering, security hardening, and Apache/MySQL/NFS/JBoss administration, plus production support and incident troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer SLES, RHEL, Rocky Linux, and Ubuntu servers.
Perform server patching, OS upgrades, installations, builds, and provisioning.
Manage SUSE High Availability clusters, failover, and cluster monitoring.
Perform vulnerability remediation and security hardening.
Install, configure, and support Apache Web Server, MySQL, and NFS.
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform root cause analysis.
Manage users, permissions, filesystems, storage, and system services.
Configure and support JBoss domain and standalone instances, datasources, JDBC connections, and security settings.
Provide production support and ensure high availability and system stability.
Required Skills:
Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting experience.
Hands-on experience with SUSE HA clustering, patch management, and security hardening.
Knowledge of Apache, MySQL, NFS, and JBoss administration.
Experience in production support and incident management.
Shell scripting knowledge is an added advantage.
