Linux / Windows Administrator (VMware)

Are you an experienced Infrastructure Administrator with strong VMware, Windows, and Linux expertise? Join an international infrastructure team supporting enterprise-scale datacenter environments across Europe. You'll work with modern virtualization platforms, automation technologies, and high-availability infrastructure while ensuring secure and reliable operations.

What you'll do

• Administer and maintain VMware virtual infrastructure (ESXi, vCenter)

• Manage Windows Server and Linux (Red Hat) environments

• Perform server installation, configuration, patching, upgrades, and troubleshooting

• Support virtual machine lifecycle management and infrastructure maintenance

• Configure and maintain VMware High Availability (HA), DRS, and Disaster Recovery solutions

• Monitor server health, system performance, and infrastructure availability

• Manage storage, file systems, LVM, and disk provisioning

• Automate operational tasks using Ansible and infrastructure automation tools

• Collaborate with Infrastructure, Security, and Operations teams to improve platform reliability

• Coordinate hardware maintenance with vendors and onsite support teams

• Ensure compliance with security, governance, and operational standards

• Maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and operational procedures

• Support incident resolution, vulnerability remediation, and infrastructure optimization

What we're looking for

• 6+ years of experience as a Linux, Windows, or VMware Administrator

• Strong hands-on experience with VMware vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter

• Experience administering Windows Server environments

• Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux

• Good knowledge of virtualization, networking, storage, and enterprise infrastructure

• Experience with patching, upgrades, and infrastructure lifecycle management

• Hands-on experience with Ansible or similar automation tools

• Understanding of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) concepts

• Experience working in enterprise datacenter environments

• Good troubleshooting and analytical skills

• Strong communication skills in English (B2+) and Polish (or another local European language)

Nice to have

• VMware certifications (VCP)

• Microsoft Windows Server certifications

• Experience with Hyper-V

• Experience with Red Hat Satellite

• Knowledge of governance, compliance, and audit processes

• Experience supporting large-scale enterprise infrastructure

• Experience with scripting (PowerShell, Bash)
