We are currently looking for talented and experienced VMware, Linux/Windows Administrator to join a long-term project.

📌 Desired Competencies
Must-Have
Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of networking, computer hardware, and critical infrastructure.
VMware Administration of physical and virtual servers (installation, patching, upgrades, troubleshooting).
Coordinate hardware maintenance and coordinate with OEM vendors and onsite Smart Hands teams.
Manage virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V, Windows, Linux, Network).
Overall Management of Datacenter Management.
Monitor server health and support Disaster Recovery (DR) and High Availability (HA) configurations.
VMware High Availability & Disaster Recovery: Configure HA (High Availability) / DRS (Distributed Resource Scheduler), support Disaster Recovery solutions, VM backup and restoration.
VMware Patching & Upgrades: Patch ESXi hosts and upgrade vCenter and VMware components.
Windows Administrator.
Linux: Red Hat Satellite, Ansible.
Storage & File System Management: LVM administration, file system expansion, and disk management.
Ensure platform adherence to compliance, policy, risk, and operational governance standards.
Administer, automate, and optimize enterprise operations through automation, migration, governance, and cost optimization.
Design automation workflows, API integrations, and rule-based orchestration for operational efficiency.
Implement data, license, and risk workflows using governance and compliance platforms.
Collaborate with Infrastructure, Security, and Operations teams to streamline processes and eliminate manual effort.
Own reporting automation, dashboards, inventory updates, and audit readiness.
Maintain documentation, runbooks, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and assist in audits.
Proficient in English and the native language (German / Polish / French, etc.).
Good-to-Have
Disaster Recovery (DR) and High Availability (HA).
Hardware maintenance and vendor coordination.
Security, access, and compliance.
Automation in Ansible and optimization.
Documentation, reporting, and audit readiness.
Flexible to work in off hours / weekend shifts.
Certification in VMware, Windows Server 2022.
