Pay range: $40-55/hr based on relevant experience
Location: Cambridge, MA (Kendall Square)
WFH situation: Hybrid (1-2 days per week onsite - Tue & Wed preferred)


The LMS Administration Contractor supports day-to-day administration of our enterprise Learning Management System (LMS) within the People Operations team. This role helps ensure accurate training data, timely request processing, system integrity, and a positive user experience while supporting compliance in a regulated environment. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, customer-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced operational setting. Success in this role requires strong follow-through, collaboration, and a commitment to high-quality service aligned with established compliance requirements.

Responsibilities
Learning Management System Administration

  • Process LMS requests submitted through ServiceNow, including curriculum updates, instructor management, learning assignments, learning history updates, and related administration requests.
  • Administer the LMS by uploading course content, maintaining curricula, managing user accounts, completing system testing, and troubleshooting issues.
  • Create and maintain OSP and contingent worker accounts, including required learning assignments.
  • Generate standard and ad hoc LMS reports to support training compliance, audits, and business needs.
  • Maintain accurate training records, course metadata, and learning assignments while providing responsive support to employees, managers, and training stakeholders.
Operational Excellence & Compliance
  • Manage the Learning Services ServiceNow queue, ensuring timely assignment and accurate processing of requests in accordance with established service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Follow established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), validated processes, and compliance requirements.
  • Escalate complex issues to subject matter experts (SMEs) as appropriate.
  • Participate in monthly quality assurance (QA) activities to validate transaction accuracy and maintain data integrity.
Continuous Improvement
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, increase efficiency, and enhance the learner experience.
  • Support system enhancements, user acceptance testing (UAT), and training-related initiatives as assigned.
  • Contribute to documentation updates, process improvements, and knowledge-sharing across the team.
Qualifications

Required
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, education, business administration, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience administering an LMS; SuccessFactors experience preferred.
  • Experience using ServiceNow or a similar ticket management platform.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications, including Excel, Teams, SharePoint, and Word.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred
  • Experience in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry.
  • Experience supporting high-volume operational processes in a shared services or People Operations environment.
  • Pay range is $40-50/hr based on relevant experience
