Job Purpose: Two to three sentences describing the overall purpose of the job |

Perform a combination of cleaning duties to maintain cleanliness in designated public space areas according to established procedures. |
|
|
Job Responsibilities: Maximum of ten responsibilities, in order of percentage of time spent on functions from longest to shortest; do not list anything that doesnot represent at least 10% of the job's time. Please include supervisory responsibilities. |

1. |
Clean public space areas including restrooms, lobbies, meeting rooms, ballrooms, guest corridors, restaurants, back of the house andexterior areas according to preset standards and procedures. |
|
2. |
Empty wastebaskets, ash urns and transport other trash and waste to disposal areas according to preset standards and procedures. |
|
3. |
Change light bulbs in public space light fixtures. |
|
4. |
Clean and maintain cleaning equipment according to preset standards and procedures. |
|
5. |
Enter, respond to and close maintenance system work orders as required. |
|
6. |
Report maintenance problems immediately. |
|
7. |
Follow established chemical procedures. |
|
8. |
Follow all safety Lost and Found procedures and energy conservation guidelines. |
|
9. |
Provide assistance to Housekeeping areas including cleaning rooms and stripping linens as assigned according to preset standards andprocedures. |
|
10. |
Perform other duties as assigned. |
|

Education |
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. |
|
Experience |
No initial experience required. Ability to speak basic English required. Good communication skills required for guest interactions. |
