What You'll Do
As a Shuttle Driver, you will:

Transport loaded trailers from the branch to designated shuttle locations.
Return empty trailers to the branch for reloading.
Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles while following all DOT and company regulations.
Maintain scheduled delivery and pickup times.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
Communicate any issues, delays, or safety concerns to management immediately.
Represent Ben E. Keith professionally with customers, vendors, and fellow team members.
Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications

Must have Double/Triple endorsements*
Must have Valid Class A CDL with 1- year experience*
DOT qualified and able to meet all DOT requirements.
Good driving record with no more than one moving violation within the past three years.
Ability to pass a DOT physical, drug screening, and background requirements.
At least one year of commercial driving experience preferred.
High school diploma or GED preferred; relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of education.
Ability to safely operate tractors with 28', 36', and 48' trailers.

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds on a repetitive basis.
Ability to climb in and out of tractors and trailers frequently.
Ability to work in varying weather conditions.
Ability to read route information, product descriptions, and safety documentation.
Normal use of hands, arms, shoulders, legs, and feet to safely perform job duties.
