Local IT Intern

About the role

NNIT Digital & Life Sciences Philippines Inc. is seeking a Local IT Intern to join our Help Desk & IT Support team in Makati City, Metro Manila. This is a On the Job Training position that offers an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in IT support and technical assistance within a dynamic, growing technology company. As an IT Intern, you will provide essential support to our internal teams and contribute to maintaining the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure and services.

What you'll be doing

• Providing first-line technical support to end-users, assisting with hardware and software issues

• Responding to IT support tickets and troubleshooting common technical problems

• Assisting in the installation, configuration and maintenance of IT systems and applications

• Supporting the Help Desk team in monitoring and resolving IT incidents

• Documenting technical issues and solutions to maintain knowledge base records

• Assisting with IT asset management and inventory tracking

• Collaborating with IT team members to learn best practices in technical support

• Supporting IT projects and initiatives as assigned by senior team members

What we're looking for

• Currently enrolled in or recently completed a degree program in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field

• Basic knowledge of IT infrastructure, operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and common software applications

• Familiarity with ticketing systems and IT support processes is advantageous

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think logically through technical issues

• Excellent communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users

• Demonstrated patience and professionalism when supporting end-users

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a part-time capacity

• Willingness to learn and develop technical skills in a professional environment

• Target Start Date: November 2026
