Job Overview

We are urgently hiring Locum Nursing Aides / Healthcare Assistants to provide nursing and personal care to individuals with intellectual disabilities at a care centre in Woodlands.

Candidates with nursing aide, healthcare support or personal care experience are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide daily personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting.

• Assist with medication administration and routine health checks, including blood pressure and blood glucose monitoring.

• Monitor clients' eating habits and provide feeding assistance when required.

• Support daily living activities (ADLs) and physiotherapy exercises.

• Accompany clients to hospital and medical appointments when necessary.

• Facilitate recreational activities such as arts and crafts.

• Monitor and report changes in clients' health and behaviour to the Staff Nurse or supervisor.

• Attend to emergencies and perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 1–3 years of nursing care or personal care experience.

• Prior experience supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities is required.

• WSQ Higher Certificate in Healthcare Support, HMI Nursing Aide Certificate or equivalent healthcare qualification preferred.

• Able to communicate in English and Mandarin; dialects would be an advantage.

• Patient, responsible and comfortable providing hands-on care.

Working Arrangements

• Location: Woodlands

• Duration: 1–3 months (minimum 1-month commitment)

• Salary: $15/hour

• Preferred Commitment: 5 days per week

• Candidates may indicate their preferred shift and available working days, subject to roster requirements.
