A leading global logistics company is seeking an Inventory Officer to support inventory management and warehouse operations within its Contract Logistics business. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in inventory control, SAP/WMS, and warehouse operations who enjoy working in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily inventory control activities to ensure stock accuracy and operational efficiency
• Act as the SAP / Warehouse Management System (WMS) key user for inventory transactions and reporting
• Work closely with warehouse operations to implement and maintain inventory control procedures
• Perform cycle counts, stock takes, inventory reconciliation, and variance investigations
• Process inventory adjustments, write-offs, and product disposal activities
• Monitor product shelf life to ensure proper stock rotation and minimise inventory losses
• Serve as the key point of contact for inventory-related enquiries and issue resolution
• Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in accordance with quality standards
• Prepare inventory reports and maintain accurate documentation
• Support continuous improvement initiatives, including 5S, Kaizen, LEAN, and Operational Excellence programmes
• Ensure compliance with Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) policies and procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Minimum GCE 'O' Level or equivalent
• At least 1–2 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse, or logistics operations
• Hands-on experience with SAP or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
• Good proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills
• Meticulous with excellent attention to detail
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to work independently and in a warehouse environment when required
