Job Title: Lorry Crane Driver

Job Summary

We are seeking a responsible and experienced Lorry Crane Driver to safely transport goods and operate a lorry-mounted crane for loading, unloading, and lifting materials at customer sites. The successful candidate must comply with all traffic regulations, workplace safety requirements, and company procedures while delivering excellent service.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a lorry-mounted crane safely and efficiently.
• Drive the lorry to customer sites according to assigned schedules.
• Load, unload, lift, and position materials using the crane.
• Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle and crane inspections.
• Ensure proper securing of loads before transportation.
• Perform routine maintenance checks and report any defects or repairs required.
• Follow lifting plans, safe work procedures, and site safety regulations.
• Complete delivery orders, inspection checklists, and other required documentation.
• Coordinate with site supervisors, customers, and operations personnel.
• Maintain cleanliness and good condition of the vehicle and crane.
• Comply with all road traffic regulations and company policies.
• Respond promptly to emergency situations or operational issues.

Requirements

• Valid Class 4 or Class 5 Driving Licence (as required).
• Valid Lorry Crane Operator Licence/Certificate.
• Minimum 2 years of experience operating a lorry crane.
• Good knowledge of safe lifting practices and traffic regulations.
• Ability to read and understand delivery instructions and lifting requirements.
• Physically fit and able to work outdoors.
• Responsible, punctual, and safety-conscious.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
