Key Responsibilities
Development of backend services and APIs using Java 8, Spring, Spring Boot.
Design and implement scalable and high-performance solutions for a complex banking environment.
Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate services and ensure seamless data flow.
Perform advanced database operations and optimization on Oracle DB.
Champion code quality through diligent JUnit testing and code reviews.
Contribute to our CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitLab to ensure efficient and reliable deployments.
Monitor and troubleshoot application performance and logs using Splunk.
Work proactively and take initiative to solve problems and suggest improvements.
Participate in our daily agile scrum calls, contributing to a culture of open communication and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or a related field.
5+ years of professional experience in software development, with a focus on enterprise applications.
Strong expertise in Core Java and a deep understanding of the Spring and Spring Boot frameworks.
Proven experience with Oracle DB, including complex query writing and performance tuning.
Hands-on experience with front-end technologies like Angular (including component creation and module implementation) is highly beneficial.
Solid understanding of CI/CD principles and practical experience with Jenkins and GitLab.
Expertise in unit testing with JUnit and a commitment to TDD (Test-Driven Development).
Experience in an agile methodology for iterative development, collaboration, and rapid delivery
Preferred Skills
Experience in the banking or financial services domain.
Knowledge of AI concepts and a keen interest in leveraging AI for business automation.
Experience with other monitoring tools besides Splunk
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
A proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and mentor junior team members.
