M&A Analyst
Total Compensation: $85,000 to $100,000

POSITION SUMMARY
The M&A Analyst will support the origination, structuring, negotiation and execution of acquisitions, and investments for Cardone Ventures. In this role, the M&A Analyst will work with the Buy/Sell and Partnership team to support potential acquisition and investment opportunities

SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
- Building strong relationships across internal teams and with 10X Buy/Sell clients by effectively communicating complex financial data and strategic insights, helping to navigate negotiation processes and close deals that align with both company goals and client objectives
- Contributing to deal execution for internal acquisitions and client transactions, managing due diligence, financial modeling, and report preparation with precision, ensuring all projects are completed on time and exceeding expectations.
OBJECTIVES
- Assist in valuation exercises using comparable company analysis, precedent transactions, and discounted cash flow modeling.
- Support due diligence processes by gathering, organizing, and analyzing financial, legal, and operational information from target companies and clients.
- Maintain and manage data rooms to ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely delivery of information throughout transaction processes.
- Assist with the preparation of investment memoranda and presentations for the executive team
- Conduct research and analysis to screen and qualify potential M&A opportunities
- Assist with the development of broader internal strategic initiatives and investment strategies
- Provide financial evaluation of opportunities
- Work cross-departmentally with the M&A team to ensure there is full clarity and alignment of information being presented to executives
COMPETENCIES
- Strong fluency with Excel formulas and functions
- Can balance internal and external M&A projects by delivering detailed financial analyses, including valuations, synergy assessments, and market trend insights, driving
- both internal growth initiatives and providing high-impact recommendations to clients.
- Strong understanding of accounting, financial models, and financial reporting packages
- Strong writing ability with attention to detail, tone, and clarity to ensure deliverables meet executive and client expectations.
- High attention to detail with the ability to synthesize large amounts of data into clear, actionable insights
- Team-oriented with excellent interpersonal skills and ability to develop collaborative relationships across the organization
- Driven, self-starter with a passion for excellence
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and completeness
- Demonstrates integrity, discretion, and professionalism in handling sensitive financial information
- Adaptable and eager to learn, with the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Ability to work with project management software (e.g.,Asana) and G-Suite (Slides and Docs)
- Strong aptitude for interpreting financial statements
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field, or equivalent work experience
- 2-4+ years of M&A in investment banking, private equity, corporate development, corporate finance, or management consulting experience

- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be on-site at our Scottsdale, AZ office; this is not a remote role
