M&E Construction Manager-Contract role[Degree in M&E recognized by PEB or with a BCA M&E coordination certificate/Large scale project experience]

Job Description:

- Responsible for managing a team of M&E Engineers, Supervisors, Coordinators and BIM Modelers in the design and coordination works.

- Attend technical and site meetings with clients, consultants and other relevant stakeholders.

- Study M&E drawings and coordinate M&E work with the consultants and sub-contractors to resolve any technical / site issues.

- Interfacing or M&E planning, coordination with consultants and document control such as monitoring of sample submission, approval status of drawing.

- Coordinating, organizing and preparing construction and Interfacing/M&E documents and drawing.

- Ensure M&E works are carried out according to specifications / drawings.

- Inform Project Director / Project Manager on any technical / site problems.

- Supervise the progress of works on site.

- Coordinate the works of the main contractor and subcontractors to ensure that all activities are properly aligned and completed according to the project schedule.

- Other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements:

- Degree in M&E recognized by PEB or with a BCA M&E coordination certificate.

- Minimum 10 years’ relevant experience as M&E Manager in large scale projects.

- Highly motivated and independent with excellent team spirit and communication skills.

- Possess excellent interpersonal skills/people management skills, good communication skills and negotiation skills and possess strong leadership qualities.

- Efficient, good analytical skills and able to work independently.

- Proven track records of successful project completion on time and on budget or exceeding expectations will be well regarded.

- Able to start work immediately or within short notice.
