M & E QUANTITY SURVEYOR
- Responsible for MEP Design, review project specifications and technical clarifications, identify/check drawing discrepancies.
- Responsible for MEP interpretation of tender specifications, review project specifications drawings and any other relevant documents.
- Taking off quantities, obtaining quotations from subcontractors and suppliers.
- Provide estimates and evaluate costing to achieve competitive Design costing for tender submission.
- Documents preparation for sourcing of quotations for both pre and post tender stages.
- Preparation of tender evaluation, conduct negotiation with subcontractors & suppliers.
- Able to liaise with site personnel, suppliers, subcontractors, consultants and/or architects for all project-related matters.
- Liaise with the procurement department to ensure that all material are procured in accordance with the project schedules.
- To attend progress meetings, technical meetings, material submission meetings and etc. to capture all variation claims and potential variation works and time implication.
- Assist Project Manager in Supervising and Coordination of Mechanical and Electrical works.
- To ensure a timely closure of all main contract and subcontract final accounts.
- Any other duties that are deemed required to complete the works.
