Summary
3-year onsite contract in Hillsboro, OR (local candidates preferred) for a machine learning / computer vision engineer. Day to day: building and validating CV models in Python and PyTorch across areas like image classification/detection, embeddings and similarity search, few-shot/self-supervised learning, and MLOps on large, messy datasets.

Location: Hillsboro OR - Onsite (Local preference)
Duration: 3 years Contract
Must-Have Skills
• 5+ years of hands-on ML/Computer Vision experience.
• Strong Python programming.
• Strong experience with PyTorch or similar deep-learning frameworks.
• Knowledge of modern Computer Vision architectures: CNNs, Vision Transformers (ViT).
• Strong experience in at least 2 of the following:
o Image Classification / Detection
o Metric Learning / Embeddings / Similarity Search
o Few-Shot / Self-Supervised Learning
o Model Calibration / Uncertainty / Novelty Detection
o MLOps / Model Lifecycle
• Strong understanding of model validation, experimentation, and data quality.
• Experience working with large, messy, or domain-specific datasets.
