Summary
The Maintenance Technician handles routine repairs, preventive maintenance, and emergency responses for residential communities, covering plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry work. Works full-time on-site in Delray Beach, FL with occasional on-call duties.
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for
maintaining the appearance, safety, and functionality of the community's common
areas, amenities, and facilities. This position performs routine inspections,
preventive maintenance, minor repairs, and responds to maintenance requests to
ensure the community remains clean, safe, and well-maintained.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
- Inspect and maintain common areas,
including clubhouses, pools, fitness centers, parks, sidewalks, parking
lots, and landscaping features.
- Perform routine maintenance and
minor repairs involving plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting,
drywall, and HVAC systems.
- Conduct preventive maintenance on
community equipment and building systems.
- Monitor and maintain irrigation
systems and report landscaping concerns.
- Clean and maintain community
amenities and grounds.
- Respond promptly to maintenance
requests and emergency situations.
- Assist contractors by providing
access to facilities and monitoring work when required.
- Maintain maintenance logs, work
orders, and inventory of tools and supplies.
- Identify safety hazards and report
or correct them promptly.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA safety
standards and HOA policies.
- Participate in an on-call rotation
for after-hours emergencies, if required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
