Summary

Maintenance technician performs routine repairs, inspections, and upkeep of buildings and amenities in a residential community, ensuring safety and functionality.

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the appearance, safety, and functionality of the community's common areas, buildings, amenities, and equipment. This position performs preventative maintenance, repairs, inspections, and general upkeep while providing excellent service to residents and working closely with the HOA Board and/or Community Association Manager.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HOA-owned buildings, amenities, and common areas.
  • Conduct regular inspections of community facilities to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards.
  • Repair and maintain plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, drywall, flooring, and other building systems within the scope of the position.
  • Maintain swimming pools, clubhouses, fitness centers, playgrounds, sidewalks, fences, gates, and other community amenities as assigned.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and mechanical systems.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repairs.
  • Coordinate with outside contractors for specialized repairs and projects.
  • Maintain landscaping support as needed, including irrigation repairs, minor tree trimming, and debris removal.
  • Operate and maintain maintenance equipment, tools, and vehicles safely.
  • Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, inventory, and work orders.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards and HOA policies.
  • Assist with community events by setting up and taking down equipment as needed.
  • Be available for after-hours emergencies on a rotating or on-call basis, if required.



Full-Time Mon-Fri 7:30a- 4:00pm

Pay Rate: Up to $23 DOE
