Maintenance Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair machinery breakdowns to minimize production downtime.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, inspection reports, and service documentation.
• Support and execute the preventive maintenance program.
• Monitor and maintain spare parts inventory to ensure equipment readiness.
• Ensure compliance with Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) procedures and workplace safety requirements.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping within the workshop and assigned work areas.
• Liaise with equipment vendors and service providers when required.
• Assist with the maintenance and repair of pressure testing equipment, cranes, compressors, and other production equipment.
• Support audits and ensure compliance with company Quality and HSE Management Systems.
• Participate in training programs for new equipment and technologies.

Requirements

• Minimum High School Certificate, Higher NITEC, or equivalent technical qualification.
• Recognized apprenticeship or equivalent qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Maintenance Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant maintenance experience in a manufacturing, engineering, or industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery and equipment.
• Certified crane and forklift operator will be an advantage.
• Good communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts (day/night) and overtime when required.
