Maintenance Technician
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair machinery breakdowns to minimize production downtime.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, inspection reports, and service documentation.
- Support and execute the preventive maintenance program.
- Monitor and maintain spare parts inventory to ensure equipment readiness.
- Ensure compliance with Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) procedures and workplace safety requirements.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping within the workshop and assigned work areas.
- Liaise with equipment vendors and service providers when required.
- Assist with the maintenance and repair of pressure testing equipment, cranes, compressors, and other production equipment.
- Support audits and ensure compliance with company Quality and HSE Management Systems.
- Participate in training programs for new equipment and technologies.
Requirements
- Minimum High School Certificate, Higher NITEC, or equivalent technical qualification.
- Recognized apprenticeship or equivalent qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Maintenance Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant maintenance experience in a manufacturing, engineering, or industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery and equipment.
- Certified crane and forklift operator will be an advantage.
- Good communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts (day/night) and overtime when required.
