Maintenance Technician

Summary

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for safely carrying out various maintenance tasks within a manufacturing environment. Maintains the facility maintenance needs - both interior and exterior. The Technician installs, inspects and repairs machinery and equipment and carries out preventative maintenance duties to ensure machines and equipment remain operational and produce products to Company quality standards.

Essential Functions

• Interats with production employees, QA and other maitneance personnel to improve and maximize plant output, efficiencey, quality and safety.
• Utilizes process improvement techniques, tools and procedures.
• Interacts and monitors outside contractors.
• Maximizes performance of machinery. Troubleshoots equipment problems, makes change on al plant equipment.
• Reads blueprints and technical manuals.
• Assists with efficient equipement changess to acommodate production needs.
• Utilizes preventative maintenance program to maintain and prevnt failure of equipment.
• Assists in producting quality product through tight monitoring of process, raw materials and finished products.
• Preserves plant equipment through proper cleaning and maintaining.
• Records, documents and reports various data.
• Performs other related dutes as assigned.
