This position is located in the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Office of Privacy. The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a Management and Program Analyst within the Office of Privacy, supporting either the Privacy Act (PA) or Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) programs. The incumbent performs entry-level analytical, evaluative, and administrative assignments designed to develop knowledge and skills in privacy and information disclosure operations.

As a Management and Program Analyst, GS-0343-7/9, your typical work assignments may include: Perform entry-level analytical, evaluative, and administrative assignments in privacy and information disclosure operations in preparation for higher-level work. Conducting assessments, analyzing and resolving issues with productivity, effectiveness, and efficiency of management and program operations and administrative support staff activities. Maintaining full/accurate case administrative files to develop case history timelines and/or to provide current case status. Communicate with senior level staff members including requesters, internal offices, and components to provide and/or receive information.
