Manager, Category Management (Shared Services)

Primary Purpose
Leads development and execution of category strategies, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and supplier performance standards. Drives operational excellence through strategic sourcing and process optimization.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Manages the development and execution of sourcing strategies that improve cost efficiency, strengthen partner performance, and reduce operational risks.
• Manages strategic planning efforts to ensure sourcing approaches align with organizational goals, compliance standards, and evolving market conditions.
• Manages complex, cross-functional initiatives that drive improvements in how the organization sources goods and services.
• Develops and implements risk management plans while ensuring contracts are managed in alignment with legal and internal requirements.
• Drives continuous improvement efforts to reduce overall costs, enhance operational effectiveness, manage risk, and support sustainability and social responsibility goals.
• Ensures successful implementation of sourcing strategies that deliver measurable value, secure reliable supply, and support long-term sustainability.
• Presents and gains support for long-term sourcing plans that incorporate innovation, strong partner collaboration, and responsiveness to changing market and regulatory environments.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
