Location: Onsite - Kohler, WIOpportunityThe Global Engineering Manager of Product Data Management sets the strategic direction and roadmap for transforming how engineering product data is managed. This role leads a global team responsible for defining, creating, governing, maintaining, auditing, and releasing critical product data that enables and supports all downstream business processes Specific ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Team ManagementLead, mentor, and develop a high‑performing team of data engineers by providing coaching, clear direction, and effective performance management. Foster a culture where collaboration, teamwork, responsibility, and ongoing growth are core values. Recruit, onboard, and grow top engineering talent to build organizational capability. Oversee team workload, ensuring effective prioritization, resource allocation, and capacity planning to meet business needs. Demonstrate and lead others to exhibit behaviors and actions that: Delight Customers, Inspire People, Boldly Innovate, Own It and Prioritize Data Strategy & ArchitectureDefine and execute data engineering strategy and roadmap, ensuring alignment with organizational business objectives. Lead the design, creation, and ongoing maintenance of data structures and hierarchies that enable robust product data management. Ensure data models, structures, and platforms are built for scalability, high performance, and long-term sustainability. Implement and validate data rules and business logic that support core business processes, including the setup of new plants and warehouses. Provide expert guidance and training on product data management principles, business rules, and process expectations. Partner with data governance and security teams to uphold data standards, enforce compliance, and drive continuous improvements in data quality. Partner with Engineering Systems on the development of tools and solutions that enhance the capture, management, and control of product data. Oversee the engineering change process to ensure accurate and timely execution. Collaborate closely with IT on SAP-related initiatives, including system implementations, enhancements, and ongoing development. Technical ExecutionManage, load, and publish product engineering and manufacturing data. Support and implement global ERP projects. Process Bills of Materials and other critical manufacturing information. Maintain and update essential manufacturing data. Support label printing setup and configuration. Ensure data systems remain highly available, accurate, and high‑performing. Automate and monitor data pipelines to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort. Load and audit product data across systems. Coordinate and validate engineering data within the PDM environment


The actual base salary offered to a candidate may be higher than the approved range. This will vary depending on a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this position is eligible for a performance bonus and a special project incentive.
