Manager - DC Electrical Design
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare in-house engineering drawings for solar PV projects, including SLDs, layouts,
GA drawings, and detailed electrical drawings.
- Develop technical specifications for all major solar plant equipment’s.
- Prepare and float RFQs, evaluate technical offers, and support techno-commercial
finalisation.
- Prepare and manage the MDL (Master Document List) and ensure timely submission
of drawings.
- Support project costing, budget estimation, and BOQ preparation.
- Provide technical support for bidding and tendering, including compliance
statements, deviations, and clarifications.
- Ensure all designs comply with IS / IEC / CEA / DISCOM / SECI / NTPC standards.
- Support testing, commissioning, and grid synchronisation activities.
- Knowledge of BESS integration design and systems will be an added advantage.
Qualifications & Experience:
- B.E./B.Tech – Electrical Engineering
- 5–7 years’ experience in solar EPC project engineering
Skills:
- Strong hands-on experience in solar plant electrical design and drawing preparation
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, PV Syst, Sketchup and ETAP / SKM will be added advantage.
- Experience in RFQs, MDL, costing, and bidding support
Good coordination and documentation skills
