Albany International is seeking a Manager of Enterprise Network to lead and oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of our global network infrastructure. This leadership role ensures stability, security, and scalability of enterprise-wide voice, data, video, and wireless network services. The Manager will guide a team of network professionals, set strategic direction, and collaborate with business leaders to align network capabilities with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Planning

• Define and execute the enterprise network strategy to support global business operations.
• Collaborate with senior IT and business leaders to forecast network capacity and future technology needs.
• Develop and enforce policies, procedures, and standards for network administration, security, and disaster recovery.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for network architecture, processes, and service records.

Team Management & Development

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of network engineers and administrators.
• Allocate resources effectively to meet project timelines and operational requirements.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.

Acquisition & Deployment

• Oversee, deployment and management of LAN, WAN, WLAN, Remote Access and cloud networking solutions.
• Evaluate and select network products, services, and vendors to ensure optimal performance and cost efficiency.
• Manage hardware and software lifecycle, including upgrades and replacements.
• Establish and maintain strategic relationships with service providers and staff augmentation partners, ensuring effective vendor management, alignment with organizational objectives, and seamless integration of external resources to support operational and project delivery needs.

Operational Oversight

• Ensure reliable network connectivity across global sites, servers, and endpoints.
• Monitor network performance, implement proactive measures, and resolve escalated issues.
• Oversee and deploy network security solutions, ensuring robust network segmentation boundaries, compliance with data privacy laws, adherence to government regulations, and alignment with Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) requirements.
• Direct system backup and recovery processes.
