Manager, Financial Systems
The Manager, Financial Systems is part of the Controllership organization and is responsible for managing, supporting, and continuously improving Oracle Enterprise Performance Management applications used by the Accounting and Finance teams. The role partners closely with end users, IT, and external support providers to evaluate existing system processes and design, identify process gaps, recommend improvements, and create a more efficient and scalable EPM. The ideal candidate has a strong accounting foundation, deep understanding of financial close and reporting processes, and hands-on experience supporting and improving Oracle EPM modules.
This is a full-time hybrid on-site (3) days a week based out of our Northbrook or Chicago office.
Serve as subject matter expert for Oracle EPM applications, including FCCS, ARCS, EDM, PCM and reporting modules.
Own and support all Oracle EPM activities critical to month end close, ensuring system availability, data integrity, and timely completion of close-related activities.
Own and maintain hierarchies, metadata, dimensions and master data.
Manage user support activities and oversee system testing and troubleshooting including patch testing, enhancements and break-fixes.
Develop and maintain governance standards and appropriate process documentation to ensure consistent and controlled operation of Oracle EPM applications.
Partner with Accounting and Finance leaders to understand changes in business requirements and the configuration impacts.
Drive improvement initiatives to enhance current processes by introducing best practices, automation or standardization.
Coordinate with audit, SOX and IAM teams on supporting documentation and user access reviews.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience supporting Oracle EPM modules such as FCCS, EDM, ARCS, PCM/EPCM, Reporting, Narrative Reporting, or FreeForm applications.
- Experience leading changes in system design including requirements gathering, testing, documentation, and training.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to investigate data issues and explain variances clearly.
- Proficiency with Smart View.
- Ability to work effectively during time-sensitive close cycles and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical or system concepts for accounting and finance users.
- Experience working with managed service providers, implementation partners, or offshore support teams.
Total Rewards: We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. The estimated salary range for this position is $110,000- $140,000 and is based on multiple factors, including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, as well as other factors. This position is eligible for annual bonus compensation with a target payout of 20% of the base salary. This position also provides health benefits such as medical, dental and vision; wellness benefits such as mental and financial health; and retirement savings (401K) commensurate with the standard rewards offered in each individual location or country. We also provide full-time employees with paid time off including vacation (15 days), holiday and personal days (totaling 12 days), and sick time off (72 hours).
