Manager of Global BAR Contract Loading

What will you do on your journey with WebBeds.

As a Manager of Global BAR Contract Loading, you will lead, elevate, and optimise the BAR and Channel Manager contract loading function across all WebBeds regions. Working at the heart of the Contracting Operations team, you will orchestrate the accurate and timely conversion of supplier contract data into our global systems, ensuring world-class service delivery and operational excellence.

Acting as the global strategic lead for BAR and Channel Manager contract loading, you will partner closely with Vice Presidents across APAC, Americas, MEA, and Europe to deliver seamless support and high-quality outcomes.

As deputy to the Director of Contract Loading, you will represent the department, lead cross-functional initiatives, resolve high-impact issues, and direct special projects to scope, quality, and deadline.

In this role you will:

Key responsibilities

  • Operational partnership: Partner with the Director of Contract Loading to deliver targets, meet service level agreements, and uphold high operational standards.

  • Workload management: Allocate and prioritise workloads across Contracting Operations, ensuring efficiency and adherence to key performance indicators.

  • Output monitoring: Monitor and evaluate team output, taking decisive action to redistribute tasks or escalate issues when required.

  • Team leadership: Lead, coach, and empower Team Leaders, Senior Associates, and Associates to achieve operational excellence.

  • Performance management: Set and refine performance standards, conduct reviews, and provide actionable feedback to drive continuous improvement.

  • Talent development: Build and nurture a high-performing leadership pipeline across the global team.

  • Innovation: Champion innovation by encouraging team leaders to propose fresh ideas and lead change initiatives.

  • Policies and procedures: Enhance and update department policies and procedures to deliver stronger business outcomes.

  • Reporting: Deliver accurate, timely reports that enable informed decision-making at leadership level.

  • Stakeholder engagement: Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, resolving issues quickly and collaboratively.

  • Global collaboration: Partner with Vice Presidents across APAC, Americas, MEA, and Europe to deliver seamless support and consistent outcomes.

  • Special projects: Direct special projects from initiation to completion, delivering them to scope, quality, and deadline.

The skills we would love to see in your suitcase!

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in a leadership or departmental management role within a travel or bedbank environment.

  • Strong understanding of BAR and Channel Manager contracts and Channel Manager functionality.

  • Proven ability to mentor, inspire, and lead teams to achieve ambitious goals.

  • Strong decision-making, delegation, and coaching capabilities.

  • Excellent influencing, communication, and collaboration skills across all organisational levels.

  • Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail.

  • Strong problem-solving ability, with a proactive approach to anticipating issues and driving effective solutions.

  • Resilient, adaptable, and confident working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

  • Results-driven mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement and excellence.

  • Fluent spoken and written English.
