Manager, Sourcing Transformation
About The Role
The Manager at Sourcing Transformation is responsible for driving operational performance, governance, and transformation within the sourcing organization. This role oversees key business metrics, leads strategic improvement initiatives, and manages critical stakeholder relationships. The position ensures alignment across teams while enabling sustainable process excellence and business outcome.
What You'll Do
- Leads weekly ordering – Creation of Purchase Orders for Replenishment and Non-replenishment orders. Analyze the demand and forecast data to identify any exceptions and outliers and call out to the respective stakeholders.
- Leads & Manages PO management activities such as PO revisions, tracking the PO status, call out exceptions and report the progress update to the relevant stakeholders in a timely manner, also manage surveys for Supply Chain Interruption events like factory shutdowns, vessel shortages, adverse weather, and other similar events.
- Leads development and maintenance of the process SOP (Standard operating Procedures) and update the same in the regular intervals. Ensure SOP’s and Training documents are up to date.
- Proactively identify process improvement and automation opportunities, brainstorm solution and engage with relevant teams and leadership to align on solutions and implementation
- First point of contact for the team's operational KPIs, troubleshooting issues, and stakeholder queries.
- Manages the execution of multiple business plans and projects by identifying customer and operational needs; developing and communicating business plans and priorities; removing barriers and obstacles that impact performance; providing resources; identifying performance standards; measuring progress and adjusting performance accordingly; developing contingency plans; and demonstrating adaptability and supporting continuous learning.
- Coordinates, completes, and oversees job-related activities and assignments by developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders; supporting plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs; identifying and communicating goals and objectives; building accountability for and measuring progress in achieving results; identifying and addressing improvement opportunities; and demonstrating adaptability and promoting continuous learning.
- Prioritizes and executes key business strategies and communication platforms by managing cross-functional initiatives that impact store and corporate processes; managing merchandising programs and initiatives, customer and company communications, and associate training content; making recommendations for system support developments; recommending merchandise priorities; providing insight to senior management and other business partners on key issues and opportunities to drive the business; and translating merchandise strategies for assigned departments into executable programs.
- Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates by hiring and training; mentoring; assigning duties; providing recognition; and ensuring diversity awareness.
- Manages projects by building project plans; assigning projects and tasks to associates; scheduling projects; documenting project scope; developing scorecards and metrics; developing short and long term plans; overseeing projects from start to completion; and completing projects in accordance with agreed upon timelines.
- Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans; utilizing and supporting the Open Door Policy; and providing direction and guidance on applying these in executing business processes and practices.
- Manages the development of associates by providing training and support; monitoring associates growth; sharing key learning; providing feedback and coaching on performance; providing input on performance appraisals; selecting team members; and ensuring associates have the knowledge and skills necessary to advance.
- Manages support to internal customers by reviewing project requests and project plans; analyzing data; driving solutions to business problems and store processes; providing feedback on operational processes; and providing recommendations for system changes and overall process changes.
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field and 5-7 years' experience in business management, merchandising, Supply Chain in Retail, CPG, or related area.
- Master's degree in business management
- Experience in querying tools like Big Query or similar tools, Advanced Excel, Data visualization & Operations management
- 2 years' supervisory experience.
- Ability to effectively contribute to continuous improvement projects and initiatives from initiation to completion.
