Job Purpose: As Manager Special Projects you will be responsible for leading and managing high-impact strategic and projects. The role acts as a central coordination point across internal teams, external entities, committees, and stakeholders to ensure successful project planning, alignment, execution, and reporting. This role also supports executive-level initiatives by driving stakeholder engagement, facilitating committee operations, preparing executive presentations, and providing structured decision support on key business topics and strategic initiatives.
Duties and Responsibilities
Lead and manage special projects and ad-hoc initiatives across the organization.
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to define project objectives, requirements, timelines, and deliverables.
Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, government entities, committees, and strategic partners.
Drive engagement and communication with executive-level stakeholders and facilitate alignment across functions.
Define project phases, milestones, governance structure, and follow-up mechanisms to ensure smooth execution.
Monitor project progress and provide regular status updates, reports, and executive summaries to leadership.
Prepare high-quality presentations, reports, briefing materials, and decision-support documents for leadership and committees.
Support leadership in strategic discussions, cross-functional initiatives, and organizational priorities.
Facilitate coordination between different entities and ensure timely closure of action items and deliverables.
Identify risks, dependencies, and gaps within projects and proactively recommend solutions.
Ensure projects are executed in alignment with organizational objectives, governance standards, and stakeholder expectations.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Project Management, or any related field.
5+ years of experience in Project Management, Strategic Initiatives, Stakeholder Management, Executive Office, Consulting, or related fields.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Strong project management and stakeholder management capabilities.
Experience managing cross-functional projects and executive-level initiatives.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in both Arabic and English.
Strong presentation development and storytelling skills.
Ability to engage confidently with senior leadership, committees, and high-level stakeholders.
Strong reporting and executive briefing capabilities.
Knowledge of governance, committee management, and secretariat functions.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
Understanding of the esports industry ecosystem is a plus.
