Mandarin Translator (Work From Home) | $19 Per Hour

Contract Duration: 3 Months (renewable based on performance)
Hourly Rate: $19 per hour ($15 basic pay + $4 WFH allowance)
Working Location: Work From Home (Applicants must be based in Singapore)

Working Hours

• 5 working days per week, Monday to Sunday (based on roster).

• 8-hour shifts between 9:00 PM and 9:00 AM.

• Must be comfortable working night shifts, including weekends and public holidays, based on the roster.

We are seeking a proficient Full-Time Mandarin Language Translator to join our client team for the night shift roster (Mon to Sun, 5 days work week). The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills in both Mandarin and English, with the ability to provide accurate and efficient real-time translation services. This role involves working during night hours to cater to clients across various industries and domains.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide real-time translation services from Mandarin to English and vice versa during customer interactions

• Translate a variety of subjects ranging from simple to complex, non-technical to technical topics across industries such as healthcare, government, finance, utilities, and more

• Ensure accurate and effective communication between customers and call center representatives

• Assist non-English-speaking customers in understanding and resolving their inquiries or issues

• Maintain professionalism and confidentiality while handling sensitive information

• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and standards at all times

Requirements:

• Proficiency in both Mandarin and English languages for translation jobscope, with strong verbal communication skills

• Ability to work night shifts and adapt to changing schedules as required

• Excellent listening and comprehension skills to accurately interpret conversations

• Must be based in Singapore and have a suitable home working environment.
