About the role

We are looking for a Manhattan Tester with hands-on experience in Manhattan WMS application support, software testing, and test automation. The role will be responsible for designing and executing functional and automated tests, identifying defects, improving test coverage, and supporting the quality of complex applications.

Key responsibilities

• Execute testing for complex programs and projects and identify potential issues early in the development lifecycle.

• Review requirements and system designs with a focus on testability, coverage, and quality.

• Design and develop simple to complex automated test cases and scripts based on specifications.

• Collaborate with developers and technical leads to develop effective automation strategies and maximize test coverage.

• Execute automated functional tests, analyze results, and log and track defects.

• Identify defect patterns and testing gaps to improve overall application quality.

• Prepare automation reports, quality metrics, and testing status updates.

• Support release planning, deployment, and change management activities.

• Maintain test automation scripts after release and ensure they remain reusable.

• Escalate quality issues and testing risks appropriately and provide recommendations for resolution.

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 3–4 years of experience in application or production support.

• Hands-on experience supporting Manhattan WMS applications.

• Strong understanding of warehouse operations.

• Experience with Java, including Spring Boot, and JavaScript, including React.

• Knowledge of ESP, Stonebranch, MQ, Mainframe, Kafka, APIs, XML, and JSON.

• Experience with Microsoft Azure, including Data Factory and Data Lake.

• Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including Dataflow and Composer/DAGs.

• Experience with Azure DB and DB2.

• Experience creating test cases, test scripts, and automated testing solutions.
