Manufacturing Engineering - Manager

To be successful in this role you will need the following:
- Deep Manufacturing Expertise: Leverage 7–10 years of plant manufacturing experience to lead engineering strategy, guide technical decisions, and support complex operations across refurb, delining, drivetrain, automation, and capacity expansion workstreams.
- Strong Capital Project Leadership: Drive end‑to‑end ownership of capital projects—defining scope, building business cases, engaging vendors, and ensuring safe, on‑time, on‑budget execution with reliable startup and performance outcomes.
- Cross‑Functional Partnership & Influence: Collaborate closely with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, HSE, and Planning to lead major site transitions, deploy automation, reconfigure lines, relocate equipment, and introduce new processes while balancing stakeholder needs.
- Technical & Safety‑Driven Continuous Improvement: Apply advanced manufacturing, automation, and process‑optimization skills to improve capacity, throughput, and productivity while ensuring engineering ownership of HSE risk reduction, machine safety, ergonomics, emissions control, and OEE stabilization.
Education, Licenses, Certifications:
College, university, or degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) or related field, or equivalent experience required.
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Experience:
Significant level of relevant work experience, including supervisory and leadership experience, required.
- 7–10 years of plant manufacturing experience, with demonstrated leadership in a high‑volume or complex production environment.
- Site Manufacturing Engineering leadership experience, providing daily technical direction across refurb, delining, drivetrain, automation, and capacity‑expansion operations.
- Proven ability to lead end‑to‑end capital projects, including scope development, business case creation, vendor management, execution oversight, and safe, on‑time startup.
- Strong cross‑functional engineering support capability for major initiatives such as automation deployment, line reconfiguration, equipment moves, and new process introductions.
- Demonstrated success driving capacity, throughput, and productivity improvements through process optimization, equipment upgrades, and standard work implementation.
- Expertise in HSE‑focused engineering, including machine safety, ergonomics, dust/emission controls, PIV engineering controls, and closure of risk assessments with engineered solutions.
- Technical leadership in automation and advanced manufacturing, including technology evaluation, OEE improvement, and stabilization of automated systems post‑launch.
- Effective cross‑functional interface skills, ensuring alignment with enterprise stakeholders on priorities, timelines, risks, and execution plans.
- Experience building and developing high‑performing engineering teams, including workload prioritization, coaching, capability development, and succession planning.
- Strong execution discipline, maintaining cadence, visibility, and accountability through structured project reviews, risk escalation, and performance reporting.
