We are looking for an experienced Manufacturing Branch Manager to lead 200mm wafer FAB manufacturing operations and drive manufacturing excellence in a fast-paced production environment. This role is well suited for a hands on, visionary leader with semiconductor operations experience and a strong IE foundation that is driven to achieve operational results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operational Leadership:
    • Lead and Manage FAB manufacturing operations and the manufacturing team. Ensure execution against daily, weekly, and quarterly goals, consistently meeting safety, quality and line performance objectives.
    • Own line performance and lead daily constraint mitigation of tools, process flexibility, and labor through rapid issue resolution.
    • Drive cross-functional coordination across all FAB branches and support functions to continuously improve and maintain stable factory activity & cycle time.
    • Drive tactical leadership on a basis of data and manufacturing science principles to ensure site goals are met across safety, quality, activity and cost.
  • Productivity and Automation:
    • Own the utilization of factory automation assets at entitlement to enable maximum productivity for our team.
    • Lead direct labor productivity improvements and automation readiness- optimize manufacturing workflows and eliminate tasks with partnership of the engineering teams to achieve best in class productivity and eliminate waste.
  • Team Development and Leadership
    • Lead, coach, and develop section managers and supervisors to sustain operations with consistent activity in a fast-paced 7x24 manufacturing environment.
    • Build a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
    • Set clear performance expectations and development priorities for leaders
    • Define and execute a workforce roadmap to ensure the organization can meet current and future manufacturing needs.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • BS in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or a related technical field.
  • 7 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing operations with progressive management responsibilities. 200mm semiconductor experience preferred.
  • Technical, Functional & Leadership Expertise
    • Experience leading a team in a high volume manufacturing environment with direct accountability for line performance
    • Demonstrated data-based decision making, problem-solving, and project management.
    • Strong communications skills with the ability to concisely communicate to senior leadership and to all levels within the factory workforce (verbally & written).
    • Strong cross-functional leadership skills, with demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with Engineering, Support Teams, and between factories.
    • Experience building an organizational structure to drive efficiencies and achieve results
